Unitarian Universlist Service Committee’s “Guest at Your Table” drive

Guest at Your Table  (GAYT) is  the annual Unitarian Universalist Service Committee (UUSC) education,  membership, and fundraising drive.  The UUSC’s mission is to promote human rights and social justice everywhere to achieve a world free from all oppression and injustice.  On its own and in partnership with other organizations, the UUSC helps in disaster areas, advocates for living wages, defends the right to clean drinking water, and works to stop violence in places such as the genocide in Darfur.  During the December 3rd service GAYT will presented and donation envelopes and boxes will be passed out.  Please consider donating your spare change at the end of the day or what you find doing laundry.  Donations and memberships will be collected toward the end of January.  The UUSC’s    Stories of Hope and project fact sheets will also be   distributed which shows the need for the UUSC.  For more information about the mission and projects of the UUSC, see the UUSC website www.uusc.org.
